Rt. 66 Wayfindings Find Homes

As Albuquerque continues its progress towards bringing new energy to its 18 miles of Route 66 along Central Avenue, so does EFG Creative. The city has selected a Rt. 66 wayfinding design by EFG that will be appearing in six locations along Central by early 2015.

The design, which is currently being fabricated, features a teal roadrunner gliding through a Route 66 sign, its feet becoming the two sixes, melding classic Americana with a distinctly New Mexican icon. The wayfindings are scheduled for placement at Coors and Central, the Biopark, Old Town, Tulane and Central, Louisiana and Central, and at Tramway and Central.
